Preschool Admission Policy

Age Requirement: 3 years old by September 1

Requirements for Admission:

The applicant student must be three years of age by September 12. Students must be in good health, provide proof of immunization*, fully toilet trained, and be able to participate successfully in the regular school program

St. Linus School gives preference in admission to:

    1. Children who demonstrate age-appropriate school readiness
    2. Siblings of current St. Linus students
    3. Families who are St. Linus Church parishioners
    4. Families living within the parish boundaries
      *Immunization Requirements: 4 Polio, 4 DTP/DT, 3 Hepatitis B, plus 2 MMR

    Preschool Information (3 years old by September 1st)

    Please contact the school office and request a Preschool information Packet. Our CA state-licensed Preschool program offers Partial Day and Full Day sessions. Call or email us if your child is ready to meet the Preschool teachers, tour the classroom, and be assessed for school readiness.

    Please note – Preschool program is offered depending on enrollment

    Preschool Forms: Seven forms are required by the State of California Department of Social Services before a child begins attending preschool:

      1. Preschool Consent
      2. Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment (LIC 627)
      3. Personal Rights (LIC 613A)
      4. Child’s Pre-admission Health History (LIC 702)
      5. Identification and Emergency Information (LIC 700)
      6. Notification of Parents’ Rights (LIC 995)
      7. Physician’s Report (LIC 701
